Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer from the airport to Victoria Falls

On arrival you will be met by the Africa Zim Travel representative and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, you will be picked up for your Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi. You´ll have the finest vantage point from which to watch hippo, crocodiles and other animals which come down to the river´s edge in the early evening and while you´re sipping your cocktail and enjoying snacks you´ll be captivated by the sun´s dying rays. After your sunset cruise, you will be transferred back to your hotel; the rest of the evening is at your leisure.

Day 2

Victoria Falls

After breakfast you will be picked up for a tour of Victoria Falls. You´ll tour the Zimbabwean side, for there are numerous spectacular vantage points along the width of the fall. We´ll walk through the permanent, beautifully misty rain forest which flanks the fall, which includes the Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls, the Boiling Pot, Cataract Island and Livingstone Island. The Victoria Falls are Zimbabwe´s most famous attraction. Named by the locals as the ´Smoke that Thunders´ or Musi O Tunya these are the largest and probably the most beautiful waterfalls in the world!

Optional activities: helicopter flight, lion walk and elephant riding etc.

Day 3

Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park

This morning you will be transferred by road to Hwange National Park, a 2 hour drive south of Victoria Falls, to enter into the Hwange National Park. Hwange National Park is another exceptional attraction covering over 14,000 square kilometers of bush. The park is full of different species of animals to see and it’s the biggest national park of Zimbabwe. The rest of the evening is at leisure with camp fire.

Day 4

Hwange National Park

Today you will have the opportunity to do some excellent game viewing in your morning and afternoon activities as well as enjoying and relaxing at the lodge. Early morning game drive in the main park for about 3hrs from 6:30am to around 9:30 to 10am. Afternoon game drive the estate of the lodge until sunset. Lunch will be at 1pm before the afternoon game drive at 3pm.

Day 5

Hwange to Victoria Falls airport

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred back to the Victoria Falls Airport for your flight. A bonus will added to visit the painted dogs conservation center before head to the airport. Trip will end at the airport
